Community Vet Clinc Getting to Zero A Community Vet Clinic is owned/managed by an individual or group with a strong commitment to saving all healthy and treatable animals in their community. It provides access to affordable veterinary care to ensure that no animal has to lose its life because of an owner’s financial disadvantage. It also allows access to spay/neuter services to prevent unplanned litters and reduced cost licensing. The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA offers a variety of Pro- Active Affordable and Free Spay/Neuters Programs. Hundreds of pet owners have been helped by these programs and we will continue to introduce new programs throughout 2016. Our Chihuahua Challenge, Pit Stop and Big Meow spay and neuter numbers are fast approaching the thousands. Our partnership with PetSmart Charities has enable us to host several new spay and neuter clinics like our Healthy Pet Resource Program and our Happy Neuter Year. By spaying and neutering we are keeping unwanted litters from entering our shelter. The introduction of our wellness clinic offers services for pets other than spays or neuters at very affordable rates helping our community the opportunity to treat their loved ones when the normally could not do so. |
