$4,000 reward if you bring my PUP back home! ![]() $4,000 reward if you bring my PUP back home! Brown face and legs. Black body. X small. Floppy hairy ears!! Yorkie with floppy ears. 818-802-8118 A feel good story about a tiny little dog bringing a whole community together. Dogs go missing daily but this isn't your typical missing dog story. This little beauty has gotten the attention of so many Monrovians. 7 year old Zoey went missing Friday January 20th at 4:30pm. The door was not shut properly. Although, is it not like her to go to far from me she does like chasing squirrels, birds etc..and I believe lost her way. Especially, because we have only lived here 8 months. It's like Zoey disappeared into thin air because I realized she was gone within minutes and she was no where to be found. Since Friday, I have spent 16 hours each day passing out & putting up thousands of flyers all over Monrovia. Including Monrovia Fb pages. I search for her all day and all night calling her name even in the rain. What I didn't realize is that her little face was hitting the heart of everyone else as well. The response has been incredible. I have people messaging me via fb, calling me, texting me looking for poor little Zoey every chance they get including their lunch breaks! People call for any updates on Zoey daily. Some people asked me to drop off flyers at their house so they can help pass out. We all communicate with each other on what streets we have covered and where other people are searching. Me and Zoey are from the Midwest. She is all I have here. I don't have family and never in a million years did I think that Monrovia would allow me to feel like I do have family here. I may not know them personally but we all share the same love for animals. Zoey has a very high reward so most people may think that is why they are helping however every volunteer that has looked for Zoey has assured me that they want the money to go to an animal shelter if Zoey is found. Just today I cant tell you how many text and fb messages I have received from people either walking or driving around to find her. The last text I received said, "Monrovia has got your back" Talk about a family! A community! Well, that is what we have here in Monrovia. Although, the question still remains ....WHERE IS MY ZOEY?? |
