Bring ROSE Home ![]() Bring ROSE Home Rose traveled 10+ miles her 1st day missing according to the confirmed sightings reported. We're worried someone may have picked her up and delivered her to a shelter far away from home. After getting spooked Rose struggled out of her harness and went into flight mode. Rose was rescued from an abusive owner and still suffers PTSD. She is easily frightened but gentle, quiet and non-aggressive. Several eyewitnesses confirm she was hit by a vehicle and there was a lot of blood and 💩 at the sight of impact. We tracked her bloody paw print for several miles before the bleeding seemed to subside. Rose desperately needs to medical attention to check her injury(s).UNIQUE IDENTIFIER: Rose's tail looks like it's been cut off from her right side but it's actually broken at a 45º and hangs along her left flank. (We can only assume this was part of her abuse). She has a microchip but is not wearing a collar nor harness. 2 yo Female, American Staffordshire Pitbull Terrier. Mostly light golden tan (fawn) color with white striped down the nose, white chest, her front left foot mostly white, other three paws dipped in white. 2 years old. We haven't had any real solid news about Rose for 12 days since the LAST REPORTED SIGHTING is unconfirmed on June 2nd; 1/2 mile south of Travel Town on Griffith Park Rd. in the NW corner of Griffith Park. Runner reported seen a dog the same size and color barking at a squirrel up a tree, but couldn't verify broken tail or if dog was wearing a collar or harness. Other CONFIRMED SIGHTINGS: Saturday, May 26th Los Feliz Blvd westbound onto 5S FRWY entrance near Griffith Park. Prior to that she was seen Friday, May 25th, near Barnsdale Art Park at Hollywood and Prospect. Wed, May 23rd Griffith Park Fern Dell & Los Feliz, Prospect Studios, Marshall High School, Riverside & Los Feliz Blvd. Please share this with as many people as possible and to help bring Rose home.
